Vermicelli – 200 grams
Milk – 2 liters
Saffron – a pinch
Cardamom -5-6
Sugar – 2 cups (as per taste)
Cashew – 10
Pistachio – 10
Almond – 10
Desi ghee – 3 tsp

How to make Sheer Khurma
To make delicious Sheer Khurma on the occasion of Eid, first roast the vermicelli. For this, put desi ghee in a nonstick pan and heat it. When the ghee melts, put vermicelli in it and roast it on a low flame. After roasting for 2-3 minutes, the color of vermicelli will turn light brown, after that turn off the gas and take out the roasted vermicelli in a bowl and keep it aside.

Now pour milk in a deep bottom vessel and heat it. When the milk comes to the first boil, add cardamom and saffron to it. After this, cook the milk till its quantity remains almost half. After this add sugar according to your taste in the milk and let the milk cook. Keep stirring the milk in between with the help of a big spoon. During this, cut fine pieces of dry fruits.

After the milk is cooked well, add fried vermicelli to it and mix it with a spoon. After this add dry fruits and let the sheer khurma cook for another 5-7 minutes. After this turn off the gas. Sheer Khurma is ready. Many people like to eat Sheer Khurma cold. For this, first let the Sheer Khurma cool down at normal temperature, then keep it in the fridge for 1 hour. After the sheer khurma cools down, put it in a serving bowl and garnish it with dry fruits.
